CUMBERLAND – The 22nd annual Blackstone Valley Garden Club Plant Sale will run from 9 a.m. to noon this Saturday, May 16, at the Cumberland Monastery, 1464 Diamond Hill Road. Gates open at 9 a.m. sharp, and no early birds will be let in. Cash or check only.

Debbie Rodin explains what makes the annual plant sale so popular.

Come for perennials, vegetables, herbs, ground cover, annual flowers, house plants, day lilies, black-eyed Susan, iris, hosts, Shasta daisies, ferns, phlox, and a variety of vegetables. The URI Master Gardeners will also be participating. All proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The event runs rain or shine, but BVGC President Debbie Rodin said they expect beautiful weather. Hear a little more about why you should attend:
