NORTH PROVIDENCE – Incumbent District 3 North Providence School Committee member Arthur Corsini has announced his intention to seek re-election this year.
“I am truly honored to have the opportunity to continue to serve as the District 3 member of the North Providence School Committee and ensure that all students are able to obtain a quality education,” said Corsini in a release.
“I am a lifelong resident of North Providence and was educated in the North Providence School system,” he added. “I served as a teacher and administrator for over 30 years in the North Providence public schools. Additionally, I served as the principal of the A. William Josephs Career Academy and most recently served as the interim principal and vice principal at Smithfield High School. I feel I bring the experience, knowledge, and commitment to lead the North Providence School District on the School Committee.”
Corsini said the reason he is running for re-election is to continue serving students and their families.
“I want to ensure that all students have the opportunities for an education that they deserve,” he said. “North Providence schools deserve visionary leadership, strong community and family engagement, quality classroom instruction, safety and a commitment to continuous improvement,” Corsini concluded.
