PAWTUCKET – Karen Alzate said it has has been an honor to serve the community and fight for the issues that matter most to working families.
“I am running for re-election because there is still important work to do, and I remain committed to building a stronger, fairer future for everyone,” said Alzate, of House District 60, Pawtucket and Central Falls.
During her time in office, she said she has championed affordable housing solutions so families, seniors, and young people can continue to live and thrive in the community.
“I have worked to support quality public education, because every child deserves access to the tools and opportunities they need to succeed,” she said. “I have also been a strong advocate for economic fairness fighting for policies that lower costs, create opportunity, and ensure our economy works for everyone, not just the wealthy few.”
Public service is about listening, showing up, and delivering results, added Alzate.
“I am proud of what we have accomplished together, but I know there is more to be done,” she said. “With your support, I will continue working every day to strengthen our neighborhoods, support local families, and move our community forward. I respectfully ask for your vote and the opportunity to continue serving you.”
