PAWTUCKET – Angeliz Rosa, an early childhood expert, educator, and first-term School Committee member, announces her campaign for re-election to the Pawtucket School Committee.

Rosa said the reason she is running again is simple: her work is not finished.

During her first term, she said, she has gained valuable knowledge about educational governance, how school committees operate, and the responsibilities involved in serving Pawtucket schools. She said she continues to learn and vote for issues that are in the best interest of children and educators.

Throughout her service, Rosa said she has worked to be transparent about both the challenges and the successes within the district. Her values, she stated in a news release, have remained unchanged, with her primary focus always being educators, students, and families in Pawtucket schools.

As chairperson of the wellness subcommittee, she said she has taken an active role in learning how she can help strengthen systems and build meaningful partnerships throughout the community.

As a parent with children in the Pawtucket school system, Rosa said she is focused on the future of students, holding the highest hopes for the district and believing “that together the community can continue moving forward by expanding resources, fostering respect, and ensuring every student feels supported and valued.”

Rosa said she is “deeply grateful for the overwhelming support the Pawtucket community has given her during her first term,” and respectfully asks for consideration and support once again for her re-election. She said she remains committed to serving the community and advocating for the success of all students.
