Attleboro Fire Department responds after pedestrian struck and killed on train tracks

ATTLEBORO — The Attleboro Fire Department has responded to a fatal train crash involving a pedestrian. 

On Tuesday, July 28, at about 2:50 p.m., Attleboro Fire responded to a report of a person struck by a train at the South Main Street train station. 

Upon arrival, firefighters located someone who had been struck by a train on the inbound side. The person was determined to be dead. All tracks at the Attleboro Station are closed at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
