CUMBERLAND – Continuing the trend of restaurants coming and going in the end space of the Seabra plaza on Mendon Road, Pat’s Italian Restaurant will close.
“To our Cumberland community, Pat’s Cumberland will be closed until further notice,” accounted the business. “t has truly been a pleasure serving you, and we are so grateful for all of the memories, familiar faces, celebrations, and support you’ve given us over the years. Thank you for being a part of the Pat’s family.”
It added, “The good news is, you can still visit all of your favorite Pat’s employees at our Johnston location! We hope to see so many of you there.”
Back in May, it was announced that Pat’s Warwick would join three existing restaurants in Cumberland, Johnston, and Coventry. Rhode Island Monthly reported how owner Greg Stevens keeps the restaurant a family affair, with his daughter running the Cumberland location.
Pat’s marinara sauce has been available at various grocery stores, including Dave’s Market, Shaw’s, and Market Basket.
The space being vacated by Pat’s was previously home to Casa Vallarta, GottaQ Smokehouse, and others.
