This week’s adoptable pet of the week is a cute mixed pup named Cody, who to this point has had a sad life.
According to Karen Kalunian, of Animal Talk, Cody “is such a young, handsome boy who has been through so much and is looking for that very special person who will give him the love, time and patience he so deserves.”
For anyone who has been searching for a loyal, loving companion who loves so deeply once he feels safe, then Cody is waiting for them, she said.
Cody is a 2-year-old mixed breed who unfortunately broke his leg and it never healed properly, which resulted in the loss of his leg, said Kalunian.
“Now, he is the most handsome tripod you’ll ever see,” she said. “Don’t let the loss of his leg fool you, it has not slowed him down one bit, he loves to play.
Cody’s best home would be an adult home that’s on the quieter side, with not a lot of commotion, along with a fenced in backyard where he can run and play, she said.
He’s the type of dog someone might have to meet a few times to get to know his heart, spend some time with him, and let him feel their heart too.
“He will end up being your lifelong friend if you just give him a chance,” she said.
