NORTH PROVIDENCE – Incumbent North Providence School Committee member Anthony Mariorenzi says he’s proud of the progress happening throughout the town’s school system.
“Over the past two years, I’ve had the opportunity to be part of a school system that has opened new, state-of-the-art schools, increased student attendance, lowered suspension rates, improved student achievement, and expanded Career and Technical Education opportunities,” he said in a release. “These accomplishments reflect the hard work of our students, educators, staff, families, and community.”
He said he’s always believed that being a School Committee member means showing up and being accessible.
“Over the past two years, I’ve worked to be visible in our schools and throughout our community, listening to parents, educators, and families,” he said. “I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together, and I’m committed to continuing that progress while never quitting on the children and families of North Providence. I humbly and respectfully ask for your vote Tuesday, Nov. 3. My door is always open to families and taxpayers via cell phone 401-451-0868 or anyone can Facebook me.”
