BURRILLVILLE – Burrillville Animal Control is thanking Ben St. Pierre for his “amazing” achievement of $60,945 raised to their veterinary fund in the past 10 years.
“These funds have helped us care for so many needy animals through the years,” they said. “We are forever grateful to Ben and his entire family and everyone who has contributed to and supports this event each year. We have an incredible village. Together, we make a difference.”
Overall, St. Pierre and his family hosted his 17th annual Ben’s Annual Lemonade Stand fundraiser on Aug. 8, raising another $9,426 for the fund. A 50-Jeep brigade was also part of the day.
They thanked retired Sgt. Angela Jalette for volunteering her service for traffic control again this year.
“We met so many great people and pups today and are so lucky to have such an amazing community behind us. You all help make it possible to do what we do. Together, we make a difference,” they said.

Funds raised go to help the shelter heal sick and injured pets and get them ready for happy homes.
