The Rhode Island Department of Transportation has announced good news for transit riders this summer.
Every Friday, from June through August, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) will have free travel on all of its commuter rail lines, including stops in Rhode Island.
Rhode Islanders are invited to take advantage of the deal by heading to one of RIDOT’s four stations, found at www.ridetherailsri.com.
The four stations are the Pawtucket-Central Falls Transit Center, 300 Pine St., Pawtucket, Providence Station, 100 Gaspee St., Providence, T.F. Green Airport, 700 Jefferson Blvd., Warwick, and Wickford Junction, 1011 Ten Rod Road, North Kingstown.
