Nancy C. Bouchard, 85, of Priscilla Road, Woonsocket, passed away on Aug. 21, 2026, at Rhode Island Hospital.

Born in Woonsocket, she was the only daughter of the late Raymond and Eva (Riendeau) Blondin. Nancy was married to WNRI owner Richard “Dick” Bouchard since 1960.

She was the mother of their two sons Gordon Bouchard and his wife, Maria, of Palm Bay, Fla., and Bruce Bouchard and his wife, Penny, of Bolivia, N.C. Nancy also leaves behind five grandchildren, Bryan Bouchard and his wife, Colleen, of Harrisville; Peter Bouchard of Woonsocket; Katelyn Bouchard of Pawtucket; Nicole Bouchard of Mapleville; and Ashleigh Bouchard of Cumberland, and nine great-grandchildren.

Nancy and her husband, Richard, were both termed “part-time real estate professionals,” owning and maintaining, until very recently, 28 properties in Rhode Island, Florida, Louisianna, and New York for many years.

Nancy was a regular at Planet Fitness up until last week. She served as the city’s Beautification Director under Mayors Charles Baldelli’s and Frances Lanctot’s administrations. Nancy also volunteered on the Autumnfest Steering Committee as the Autumnfest’s 10 Division Parade chairperson for several years. Nancy spent countless hours producing dozens of quilts on her three sewing machines over the past decade and was a seasoned seamstress. Nancy took oil painting lessons at the YWCA and produced many excellent paintings. Nancy was also an avid gardener, maintaining the couple’s landscaping around their home.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, Aug. 27, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Road, Woonsocket. Family and friends are invited to visiting hours, Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m.
