CUMBERLAND – Three raccoons were clearly having the time of their lives after discovering the softness of the patio furniture on the back deck of the Fagnant family’s Cumberland Hill home.
“I am so glad my mom and I witnessed this cuteness tonight. Oh my gosh!” posted Lauren Fagnant.
She said they always have cute critters, but they’ve never done this or gotten this close and personal. The raccoons, she said, stayed playing on the deck for about 30-40 minutes, coming up and down the deck stairs.
The raccoons showed up around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening.
“My mom called me over because she noticed them first,” she said of her mom Kay. “It was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. They even came up to the glass doors.”
She said the animals were playing in the plants and in their water fountain, and were using the tomatoes on the table as toys.
A friend suggested that Fagnant submit the video to America’s Funniest Home Videos, and she said she thinks that’s a great idea.
