LINCOLN – Bonnie Taylor, Democrat running for Lincoln’s District 2 Town Council seat, says she cares about safe streets for all and supports the Lonsdale Complete Streets project.
“I often visit Gateway Park, Chase Farm, and Lincoln Woods, and would like to work with town and state officials to make access by bike and foot safer and more convenient,” she said in a release.
The Blackstone Valley bike path runs through Lonsdale, Quinnville, Albion, and Manville, she added.
“By creating safe access in neighborhoods and improving safety measures, the path will become both a recreational and transportation asset, connecting homes to the library, the high school, and businesses on Front Street,” she stated. “I will work to eliminate parking nuisances around Ward 2 and make biking in the neighborhood safer and more enjoyable for all.”
