NORTH PROVIDENCE – Nicholas Feola has officially announced his candidacy for re-election to the North Providence Town Council representing District 2. He’s pledging to continue his commitment to responsive government, neighborhood improvement, fiscal responsibility, and strong community representation.
Since taking office in January, Feola said he has worked to ensure that the voices of District 2 residents are heard at Town Hall while advocating for policies that strengthen public services, improve infrastructure, and maintain North Providence as a safe and desirable place to live, work, and raise a family.
“Serving the residents of District 2 has been one of the greatest honors of my life,” he said in a. release.
“I am proud of the progress we have made together, but there is still important work ahead. I am running for re-election because I believe in putting residents first, listening to concerns, and delivering practical solutions that improve our community.”
Throughout his tenure, Feola added, he has focused on constituent services, neighborhood quality-of-life issues, public safety, and responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars. He said he has worked collaboratively with fellow council members, town officials, and community stakeholders to address local priorities while preserving the character and values that make North Providence a great community.
As he seeks another term, Feola said his campaign will emphasize:
• Maintaining responsible fiscal management and protecting taxpayers;
• Supporting public safety initiatives and first responders;
• Investing in neighborhood infrastructure and community improvements;
• Promoting transparency, accountability, and accessibility in local government;
• And ensuring that District 2 residents continue to have a strong and effective voice on the council.
“I believe local government works best when elected officials remain accessible and accountable to the people they serve,” he said. “I look forward to continuing to meet with residents, hear their ideas, and work together to build an even stronger future for North Providence.”
