Lillian “Lil” M. Kruszyna – North Scituate

Lillian “Lil” M. Kruszyna, 89, formerly of Gleanor Chapel Road, North Scituate, died Sunday, May 24, 2026 at the Greenville Health Center. She was the wife of the late Raymond R. Kruszyna, who passed away in 2009.

Born in South Attleboro, MA, she was a daughter of the late Alexander P. and Malvina (St. Jean) Beauregard. Lillian had lived in Glocester and North Scituate before moving to Greenville.

Lil was a past voting delegate for the National Grange while serving as First Lady of the Rhode Island State Grange. Lil proudly served the State Grange as Lecturer for over 15 years and was recently honored with the title of Lecturer Emeritus. She was also Past Master and member of Providence County Pomona and Chepachet Granges and proud Honorary member of Moosup Valley Junior Grange. She also served on the Ladies Auxiliary of the St. Lawrence Council of the Knights of Columbus and was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in North Scituate.

Lil and Ray were particularly active and supportive of the Juniors and Youth of the Grange and were affectionately known as “Gram Lil and Grampa Ray.”

She is survived by her sister, Joan Ives, 5 nieces and 3 nephews, and many great nieces and nephews in the Midwest and Southern states. Also survived by devoted friends, Walter and Danielle Hartley, and their daughter, Nettie, of North Scituate as well as many Grangers throughout the state, region and across the country.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 1st at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Church, 144 Danielson Pike, North Scituate, RI. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Visitations will be on Monday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 at Anderson Winfield Funeral Home in Greenville Common.
