NORTH SMITHFIELD – The North Smithfield Police Department is seeking the public’s help identifying two individuals involved in a residential breaking and entering incident.
On June 11, between around 4 a.m. and 5 a.m., a vacant home at 115 Mt. Pleasant Ave. was unlawfully entered. The home has been unoccupied following the death of the resident.
According to the next of kin, several guns were stolen during the burglary, including a shotgun and a rifle. The exact number and types of guns are still being determined.

Two male suspects were captured on surveillance video. One suspect was not wearing a face covering and can be seen in the attached photos. A logo on his pants appears to be for the Bandits Baseball Club. The second suspect had his face covered but is believed to have distinctive knuckle tattoos, which are visible in another image.

If you recognize either individual or have any information regarding this incident, please contact Det. Chito at 401-762-1212, ext 225.
“Your assistance could be critical in helping us identify those responsible and recover the stolen firearms,” said police. “Please share.”
