Rhode Island Food Fights is back with its popular month-long pizza extravaganza, LORD of the PIES 2026 #BestPizzaRI.
There’s still time to buy a booklet of coupons for free pizzas and slices through Halloween, but it all starts on Nov. 1 and runs through Nov. 30.
“Find the BEST Pizza in RI by eating the BEST Pizza in RI!” says RI Food Fights.
The LORD of the PIES is the biggest celebration of the the best pizza in the state and lasts all month. It’s marketed as the event of record to determine who has the #BestPizzaRI.
Participating restaurants agree to offer one free slice of pizza to anyone withcoupons. Pizzerias that don’t offer slices are offering full pies.
There are currently 38 pizza restaurants participating, so 38 free slices or pies. Organizer Jim Nellis says that’s easily a $275 value for $30.
The event has sold out 12 years in a row, and is close to selling out this year.
