NORTH SMITHFIELD – Sean Fuller has announced his intention to run for election to the North Smithfield Town Council.

A first-time candidate, 2004 graduate of North Smithfield High School, and resident of Greenville Road, Fuller said, “I have lived here most of my life and seen a lot of changes both good and bad. I am a general manager at a small shop, where I have been employed for almost two decades, and I understand the importance of clean efficient local government on everyone from individuals to small business.”

He said in a release that he wants to listen to the people of the town and work with them to keep North Smithfield “a small, safe and community oriented place like it has always been.”

Collective Action for Education

Fuller said he understands that prices are steadily on the rise and the tax burden on households and small businesses in town continues to increase.

“We need to work on keeping taxes as low as possible while looking for other revenue streams to keep town services at a quality level,” he said. “I look forward to working with the great people of this town, hearing and resolving issues and concerns and working with fellow council members to solve our mutual problems while not fighting divisive ideological battles.  Good town government knows no party.”
