Update: The missing man was confirmed being dropped off at Kennedy Plaza in Providence at 9:50 a.m., and has still not been located. Providence police have been made aware, said Woonsocket police, and it is believed that he may possibly still be somewhere in Providence.
WOONSOCKET – The Woonsocket Police Department is looking for a missing autistic male in his 20s who left the area of Village Road sometime Thursday morning.
He was last seen wearing shorts with no shoes or shirt on. The man likes to frequent swimming pools and bodies of water, so police are urging people to please check their yards if they have a pool.
“If anyone sees this individual please contact dispatch at 401-766-1212,” said police. “Thank you for your assistance.”
